A care guide for linen

Linen softens with every wash. That is the whole appeal, and it is also why the care label is more of a suggestion than a rule.

Cold water, gentle cycle, no fabric softener. Dry it flat or on a hanger and let gravity do the pressing.

The creases are the point. Ironing linen flat makes it look like a cheaper cloth than it is.
